Educators' Criteria for Selecting Scholarship Campers
Our scholarship campers are all recommended by their teachers as a reward for demonstrating very positive social skills and academic effort.
We ask that you use the following criteria as guidelines for making your decisions:
- A child that is well liked by his classmates and who works hard in school.
- A child that you would willingly take home for a weekend as a sleepover guest to play with your own child.
- A child whose parents together earn under $50,000 dollars a year.
Please let us emphasize that we cannot select children with behavioral problems or who have difficulty socializing with children and adults. Those children,
as deserving as they may be, place our program, and all the children we help in jeopardy of losing scholarship support in the future.
Thank you for taking the time and effort it takes to give a youngster a wonderful summer. We could not do this work without you!
